Instructions Culinaires Détaillées:

  1. If harvesting your own herbs, collect them at dawn on a Wednesday (Mercury's day, associated with mental faculties). Otherwise, ensure you use high-quality dried herbs.
  2. Combine all dried herbs in a blue glass jar or container. Blue is the color of mental clarity and third-eye activation.
  3. Heat spring water to just below boiling (about 80°C/175°F). Water that is too hot will destroy some of the delicate compounds in the herbs.
  4. Pour the hot water over the herb mixture and cover immediately to trap the essential oils.
  5. Allow the tea to steep for exactly 8 minutes. During this time, meditate on your intention for mental clarity and enhanced vision.
  6. If you have a silver strainer, use it to strain the tea into a white cup or mug. If not, use a fine-mesh strainer lined with unbleached cheesecloth.
  7. Add honey to the strained tea, stirring in a figure-eight pattern (the symbol of infinity, representing endless knowledge).
  8. Add a slice of lemon to the tea just before drinking.
  9. Find a quiet place to sit facing east (the direction of new beginnings and illumination). Take three deep breaths before your first sip.
  10. Drink the tea slowly and mindfully, focusing on the sensation of each sip bringing clarity to your mind.
  11. For maximum effect, drink this tea 30 minutes before engaging in mental work, study, or meditation.
  12. The herbs can be reused for a second, slightly weaker infusion if desired.
